These exceptional times have undoubtably impacted us all uniquely, but at SuperCamps we’re very aware that for parents the overwhelming concern is how to create a safe and stable environment for our children as we move into the ‘new normal’.
In a survey carried out by ParentKind, when asked to list their top 3 concerns of the impact of Covid-19 on their children, almost half of parents (48%) listed “My child not seeing their friends and socialising”. So, it’s clear that for many parents, the return to school has not only been crucial for their children’s education but also for their wellbeing.
Now more than ever, we want to help parents maintain the stable routine that children have settled back into at school, as well as enabling them to sustain their interactions with others and engagement with tasks.
Our October and Christmas activity camps were a chance for children to engage in messy, active, and exploratory play, with a variety of arts, crafts, sport, games, and outdoor activities on offer!
Underpinned by our continued focused on wellbeing and mindfulness, SuperCamps helped children to build bonds and share experiences last year, all within a safe and secure environment.
“Fantastic staff, caring and professional. Harry loved his time and made some beautiful, colourful arts and crafts which are home on the fridge door.”
