‘Day-stays’ to reinvigorate and build bonds

As we continued last year to plan for our summer 2021 programmes and with many schools already having booked their trips, we realised that due to ongoing regulations we were not able to deliver any of our courses before the current restrictions are lifted. With studies showing the negative effects of COVID-19 and lockdown on student wellbeing, we wanted to help students get outside in 2020 and experience the benefits of outdoor learning while having fun. In short, we believed that more than ever students needed time away from screens, to work together in teams, socially interact, and laugh in a safe, COVID- secure outdoor environment.

As a direct result we created Active Learning Days. Suitable for all ages, they focus on teambuilding and essential skills development through a series of challenging physical and mental tasks. Even better, we can offer these in two ways. Firstly, by you coming to us and spending a day in the wonderful woodland setting at our dedicated Active Learning Centre, in Cuffley, Hertfordshire. Alternatively, if you can’t get to us then we’ll happily come to your school and bring our mobile set of challenges with us to give your students a fantastic day on your school grounds or local park.

Whether at Cuffley or at your school, our Active Learning Days will engage and motivate your students and give much needed opportunities to socialise, build skills, and experience new ways of learning.
