Active Learning Centres immerses students in nature, with exhilarating outdoor adventure & environmentally – focussed trips.

From woods to coast to mountains, Active Learning Centres are dedicated to helping children aged 4 – 18 develop essential skills, character and promote wellbeing through outdoor learning activities. School trips with ALC are designed to encourage the development of resilience, team-work,  self-confidence as well as environmental understanding.

A variety of courses

Each of our Active Learning Centres makes use of their unique and wonderful environments to deliver an itinerary of outdoor activities like no other. From climbing High Ropes as tall as the trees to kayaking along the coast or trekking in the mountains, the ALC teams work to create high quality learning experiences that support the development of students across the three key areas of Wellbeing, Character and Essential Skills.

Located in the south-east of Hertfordshire, just 15 minutes from the M25, Cuffley is situated perfectly for schools across the county, as well as the London boroughs.
